Mantra

Mantra means “heart expansion.” Mantras work with the growing energy of the electromagnetic field of the heart. The heart is like an instrument, and all instruments need tuning. Mantras are a beautiful way of tuning your heart through sound to the frequency of love, devotion, joy, and celebration. Mantras emerge from the field of silence and take you back into silence, aligning your heart with the heart of existence.

“Devotion is the highest emotion. Pour your heart out with your voice, sing the song that wants to flow though you!”

Pranayama

Pranayama means tuning in with life force, tuning in with nature. And how do we tune in with nature´s intelligence? Through our breath. When you master your breath, you can master your energy and your mind.

Just think about it, the more stressed you are, the more anxious your breathing becomes and the more energy it will consume, resulting in a decrease in your vitality. On the contrary, when you are relaxed and enjoying the moment, such as on holiday in a beautiful place surrounded by nature, your breath becomes more at ease, and so does your state of mind and energy.

“Don´t wait for holidays to come, make your life a holiday! Master your breath, master your mind, master your life.”

Asana

Through Hatha Asana learn to heal the body, maintaining it strong and full of vitality. Through movement and yoga poses we can influence our physiology and our energy by releasing toxins from our organs as well as integrating and distributing the energy throughout the body. Movement is a beautiful way to balance, strengthen, open and release tensions and blocked energy from the body.

Kriya

Kriya means evolutionary action or actions that lead to liberation. Kriyas are like taking the highway of evolution. It is the yoga technology of inner growth and self-realization. The Kriyas we teach come from the Himalayan Kundalini Yoga tradition, the same lineage as beloved Master Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi.

Kriyas incorporate breath, mantra, mudras (hand positions) and movement that will shift our state by creating pattern interrupts in our body-mind-energy level, bringing to the surface all that needs to be released out of our system and bio memory. Some Kriyas work on activating your energy, vitality and will power, transcending any stagnant energy and self-sabotaging behaviors, others help relax the nervous system to access the space where silence, lightness of being, joy and peace resides.

Wisdom

Gyana Yoga is the yoga of intellect refining and wisdom. The more you tap into your true Self by correcting the intellect through exposure to knowledge and self-inquiry, the more silence will arise in you, and more innate wisdom will become available. Having a Self-realized teacher that guides you into seeing that which you are not seeing is a wonderful gift of life. A true teacher also guides you to become your own “Guru” or teacher.

Our practice is infused with yogic wisdom that will help you increase your awareness in the way you relate with yourself, the people around you and your life.

“Your life is you, you are your life”
